Raised in Connecticut, just a quick train ride from New York City, Raechel Bevacqua grew up taking creative inspiration from the ever-evolving beauty and style of the city.

Her love affair with makeup began at a very young age. She recalls watching her nanny (a cosmetology student) as she did her makeup and hair every morning; watching in awe of the magic that could be created. She found herself playing with makeup almost daily as a child, which grew into being the go-to for friends as a teenager and then what seemed like the natural transition to pursing a professional career in makeup.

Raechel attended an academy for makeup artistry in 2013, receiving certificates in both basic and advanced makeup artistry. A few years later, Raechel also obtained her esthetician license. After receiving her certifications and training, Raechel spent the following years interacting with artists, stylists and industry professionals, notably working with RAW Artists Fashion Show in New Haven, Connecticut Fashion Week in Hartford, Connecticut as well as traveling to Paris as a color cosmetic consultant for a Chanel formulation workshop.

Raechel added bridal to her portfolio of works in 2017 and an old love affair came back, reigniting the flame of creativity she feels from New York City. Her bridal portfolio is focused on classic, clean bridal beauty, set on enhancing her client’s natural inner and outer beauty.

Raechel, true to her esthetics background, believes the foundation of all great makeup applications begin at skincare which is directly reflected in her ability to expertly layer products for a long-lasting and weightless finish.
